Gummy Bear Skeleton

Hi! Today I'm going to show you my current obsession : Gummy Bear Skeleton! I have seen a lot of giant gummy bears but I never saw a gummy bear skeleton which is why I want it ASAP!

Do you recognize this sculptures?

So those are a few sculptures made by an artist called Jason Freeny. He likes to take a famous toy (like Lego, Nemo, Smurfs, etc) and sculpts the interior of the toy so we can see their bones and organs. His creations are quite expensive but he teamed up with a toy company, Framed Masters, and create affordable toys such as the gummy bear skeleton which I love. You can buy it online on Amazon for $47.99 or on Vat19 for $ 43.99

As you can see, it is actually an anatomical puzzle that you have to assemble. It comes with a set of bones and organs in a total of 41 pieces. They also provide a gummy bear shaped clear case to put them in. I think it is super cute and what I like the most is the fact that the top of the skull is removable and we can see the brain of the gummy bears.

Here are the videos about Jason Freeny and the gummy bear skeleton :

LILY

You probably know by now that I like to talk about new gadgets! Well today I'm going to talk about yet another gadget that I've been obsessing about. So I've been wanting a GoPro for the longest time ever but since I've seen Lily, I think I will go for that instead.

Lily or the "selfie drone" is a camera drone that will follow you automatically. To turn it on, you just simply trow it to the air and it will start following and filming you around. You will need a controller that you'll have to wear on your wrist which function as a tracking device bracelet so that it will follow you. It can take a picture or film you from several angles and you can choose the desired angle from your controller.

From what I've read, it is not in stores yet but it available next year. I like Lily Camera because it can film yourself so you don't really need another person and if you have a group picture you don't have to miss one person just because he/she is the one who's taking the picture. Furthermore, it is also waterproof and it has a cute face! hahaha.

But there are some downsides, it has no obstacle avoidance yet meaning it will hit a tree if there is one. So the first generation of Lily is perfect for filming sports such as surfing, snowboarding, soccer, etc. Oh also it is $499 which is expensive for me since I don't spend most of my time for sports I mentioned. In conclusion, just like any other gadgets, Lily is cool but unnecessary in my opinion.

Here's the promotional video of Lily :

Prom Dress Shopping

This post is a little different than my other posts because today I'm going to give you some tips for your prom dress shopping. I know the struggle and the fact that it is hard to find the perfect dress so I hope these tips can help you out!

 Mark your calendar
Don't do a last minute shopping because you will be super panic and might ended up picking the first dress you find 'okay'. So when you guys have the date of your prom, mark them on your calendar and set a reminder two weeks before the event. I think it is best if you already have your dress at least a week from any event (sweet sixteen, wedding, prom, etc) so you have to shop at least two weeks before the event. And for those of you who wants to buy them online please remember that there are so many risks including the shipping arrival so do it a month or two before the event.

 Research
Okay so this might help if you still have questions about the neckline and stuff before your shopping trip. There are loads of helpful information online such as the best dress for your body type or the best color for your skin tone. It's good to do your research but at the end of the day it is still your choice because you are the one who is going to wear it. So if something you read online for example the suitable color for your skin tone is blue but you are killing the red dress, just take it and don't afraid to break the rule!

  Find inspirations
When looking for a dress, I think it is better if you know what is exactly you want. It doesn't have to be that specific but you at least have to have an idea of your perfect dress whether it is the color or particular model / style. Sometimes it is good to look up some inspiration in tumblr or an online shop that sells prom dresses.

 Flexible
When shopping for a dress, you must be flexible of your options! It is okay to change your mind about your perfect dress along the way. If you like the model of a dress you're trying but it isn't what you planned to buy, it is okay to change your mind and buy it. This brings me to my next tip.

Try as many dress as you like
When shopping, sometimes there are some dresses that looks good in the mannequin but doesn't look good on you. Well guess what, if it doesn't look good in the display it might look good when you try them on. Some dresses may look dull at first glance but it might look fab on you when you wear them.

As I said before, you must be flexible with your options. Let's say that you are looking for a white dress but there's a dress in black with a design that you really love, well guess what you must try them on! Don't passed them just because it's black!

It is important to try every dress that you like because it will help you to compare the dresses. But if you try them on, you didn't regret your decision for your final dress because the one you pick is the dress that suits you the best because many dresses seems lovely but unfortunately unflattering for some of us.

Another tip is to try move around with the dress while you're trying them on. If it's uncomfortable, don't buy it! It's more important to enjoy the night without worrying about the dress or constantly shifting the dress because it's itchy, too revealing etc. My second tip when you're trying on a dress is to take a picture of you wearing that dress so it's easier to compare and make your final decision which means it is okay if you have to go back to the previous store you went.

Don't be shy to ask questions
You shouldn't be shy to ask questions! like the example above if you like the model of the dress but it was in black and you are really looking for a white one ask the shop keeper if they have it in white or not.

 Take your time
My tip number seven is to take your time while shopping. It is okay if you don't find the dress right away. I know that most of your mother won't agree on me with this one since some of them are impatient but you are the one who's going to wear them. So if you have a parent like this tell them before hand that it might take a long time so if they are mad and all you can say that you already warn them before hahaha. OR you can go with your friend instead, it's much more fun and at least you won't have the same dress with them in the day of prom.

Anyways taking your time is important because maybe you'll see a dress that you love at the end of your shopping trip. You don't want to buy an 'okay' dress right? And if you follow my first tip which is to shop way before the event, you still have time to go on another shopping trip and hey maybe you'll find the perfect dress at the second trip. BUT don't take too long! in my opinion three shopping trip is the maximum trip you should take. It might be a good thing to limit the amount of shopping trip you're going.

  Shopping buddy
Okay my last tip is to have somebody accompany you when you're shopping. I don't really think that somebody would actually shopping for a dress alone but my point is to take somebody like your sister, mom, or friends because tagging somebody who has the similar or good fashion sense with you is always nice because they might see nice dresses that you didn't spot or give their opinions about it. But again always remember that at the end of the day YOU are the one who will be wearing it (wow I said this too much).

Enjoy your prom!

Happy Pills

Hello! I'm sorry I haven't post anything lately due to my laziness and lack of interesting topics. Anyways, I spent most of my days on tumblr and I saw  an interesting image (well this is not the first time I've seen this picture FYI).

So this is a picture of the product of a confectionery shop called Happy Pills which is located in Barcelona! Like the PMS ice cream, they have a super cute and creative way of packaging their products. They basically put their logo on medical containers such as the first aid kit and pills container. I love the packaging because a lot the labels are so cute which provide the instruction of use and the doses and what it is for such as "It makes you prettier than your friends", "Against Monday", and many more.

I haven't been to the store before because it is only located in Barcelona and it is super far away BUT luckily they do have an online shop if you guys want to purchase anything and best of all, you can customize your own label. Like the packaging, the shop also have the clinic feel from the pictures I've seen in the internet hahaha.

I really want to go to the shop and buy the stickers because I think it's so cute. Well to be honest, it's actually easy to create by yourself because you just need a sticker paper, print the label, stick it on a plastic container, fill it with your favorite candies and boom you are done! But again copyright do exist so you must not do this for commercial use and it's easier to buy them in stores anyways.

In conclusion if you are lucky enough to go to Barcelona, I think it is great if you stop by and buy some of these lovely pills (click here to see their address) because I personally think that sweets are the best medicine for any occasion hehehe.
