Time

Hey there long time no see!
Honestly I was very lazy to post anything at all but I remembered that I've promised to post more often ironically. Ok moving on

Why and where I've been?
So on mid June until early July, I was taking so many courses like learning brazilian embroidery (yes so girly of me haha), driving and so on. Then I went on a long trip with my family (I have no intension to brag btw) then I was very busy preparing for university, classes are going to start next week! GOSH! Sure I still got time for blogging but I was very very lazy because I spent most of my time in campus for orientation etc and almost don't have time for myself.

BUT on a training in my campus orientation, something made me realized that I need to change. Here's one quote I love on the training that goes "Got no time? Make time for it!". In university, you arrange your own classes but you can't study 24/7. You CAN NOT say that you don't have time, you have to MAKE time for activities that you want to do like clubs, hangout with friends, etc. You got to priorities better than high school because you are not a high school student anymore. You have to make time for friends and activities that you love so that you can be happier and more mature as a person.

That's all for today, I hope we all can manage our time better and be more mature every single day. See you next week!

My magical pouch

Well hello hello it's me again!
There is something you need to know about me, I am the kind of person who have a "magical" pouch full of important things for any types of accidents (I even have a mini sewing kit just in case). BUT BIG MISTAKE! Not so long ago I left it at home when I went ice skating. Mistake numero deux is that I didn't bring any socks so I ended up with three horrible blisters! Luckily I managed to buy bandages. I have been thought to learn from my past so therefore I'm sharing this experience to you guys.

Okay first of all, disclaimer: yes I'm kind of a paranoid person so I have these things in my pouch but it's better to have them than sorry right so your welcome. This is the list of what I have in my "magical" pouch:

 Bandages
First of all, you must have one or two bandages in your purse at all time. I usually have the ones with iodine in which is more practical because you don't need to bring a bottle of antiseptic solution. But if you don't have that in your drugstore, you can always buy some a small bottle of antiseptic solution and some regular bandages. You can also buy alcohol swab instead of iodine which is cheap to buy.

 Sewing kit or Safety pins
Like I've said before, I have a mini sewing kit in my pouch because I used to wear a uniform skirt which have brass hooks. Well you can always use a big and strong safety pins but I personally like to fix them by sewing right away than sewing them at home. Even if you don't wear uniforms it is very handy to have safety pins or a sewing kit. In my opinion, it's easy and cheap to buy both items but if you are that stingy, you can always  keep the free sewing kits from hotels.

 Nail clipper
I always have this in my bag because in my high school there are few rules about our nail and I don't really like them to long either. Nail clipper also have other functions such as trimming threads sticking out from your clothes. So for you guys who don't have a sewing kit (which usually include a super small scissors), you can cut an annoying thread with a nail clipper.

 Hand sanitizer
It is one of my crucial items that I never leave at home because I personally do not trust soaps from public places. And I'm sort of a clean freak so I sometimes feel the need to clean my hands in buses or on the streets.

 Hair ties and bobby pins
I personally like my hair up in a ponytail when I'm in school or at least pinned to my sides, so I always have hair ties with me. It is also important to have some extra hair ties in case you broke yours. You can also complete this hair essential with  a small hair brush if you want to.

 Lip Balm
Okay, many people may think that it's so girly to have lip products well guess what lip balm is actually an essential for any season because chapped lips are not pretty and unhealthy. Just like any parts of your body, you should also take care of your lips. Plus when I travel from a place with different humidity, my lips tends to chapped rapidly.

 Menstrual Pads
Girls have period with that being said it's better if you are fully prepared. In middle school, one of my friend even bring disposable panties and a plastic bag. I never had those in my pouch but I highly recommend it to you younger girls who are new to this.

 Plastic Bag
The last item on this list is a plastic bag. I don't really use it but I did use it to cover my bag when it is raining because  most of my school bags are not water resistant. It's handy to use to save your books or important documents you are carrying from water. But recently, I change this to a foldable waterproof bag which function the same and you can reduce plastic when you went shopping.

That are all of the items I have in my "magical" pouch! Have fun creating your own!

P.S.
If you are wondering why I repetitively said the word magical, it is because the fact that my pouch fits to all of my bags in other words it is small but contains many things. Oh another important item I carry when it's rainy or cloudy (not in my pouch tough) is a small umbrella.

Gummy Bear Skeleton

Hi! Today I'm going to show you my current obsession : Gummy Bear Skeleton! I have seen a lot of giant gummy bears but I never saw a gummy bear skeleton which is why I want it ASAP!

Do you recognize this sculptures?

So those are a few sculptures made by an artist called Jason Freeny. He likes to take a famous toy (like Lego, Nemo, Smurfs, etc) and sculpts the interior of the toy so we can see their bones and organs. His creations are quite expensive but he teamed up with a toy company, Framed Masters, and create affordable toys such as the gummy bear skeleton which I love. You can buy it online on Amazon for $47.99 or on Vat19 for $ 43.99

As you can see, it is actually an anatomical puzzle that you have to assemble. It comes with a set of bones and organs in a total of 41 pieces. They also provide a gummy bear shaped clear case to put them in. I think it is super cute and what I like the most is the fact that the top of the skull is removable and we can see the brain of the gummy bears.

Here are the videos about Jason Freeny and the gummy bear skeleton :

LILY

You probably know by now that I like to talk about new gadgets! Well today I'm going to talk about yet another gadget that I've been obsessing about. So I've been wanting a GoPro for the longest time ever but since I've seen Lily, I think I will go for that instead.

Lily or the "selfie drone" is a camera drone that will follow you automatically. To turn it on, you just simply trow it to the air and it will start following and filming you around. You will need a controller that you'll have to wear on your wrist which function as a tracking device bracelet so that it will follow you. It can take a picture or film you from several angles and you can choose the desired angle from your controller.

From what I've read, it is not in stores yet but it available next year. I like Lily Camera because it can film yourself so you don't really need another person and if you have a group picture you don't have to miss one person just because he/she is the one who's taking the picture. Furthermore, it is also waterproof and it has a cute face! hahaha.

But there are some downsides, it has no obstacle avoidance yet meaning it will hit a tree if there is one. So the first generation of Lily is perfect for filming sports such as surfing, snowboarding, soccer, etc. Oh also it is $499 which is expensive for me since I don't spend most of my time for sports I mentioned. In conclusion, just like any other gadgets, Lily is cool but unnecessary in my opinion.

Here's the promotional video of Lily :

Prom Dress Shopping

This post is a little different than my other posts because today I'm going to give you some tips for your prom dress shopping. I know the struggle and the fact that it is hard to find the perfect dress so I hope these tips can help you out!

 Mark your calendar
Don't do a last minute shopping because you will be super panic and might ended up picking the first dress you find 'okay'. So when you guys have the date of your prom, mark them on your calendar and set a reminder two weeks before the event. I think it is best if you already have your dress at least a week from any event (sweet sixteen, wedding, prom, etc) so you have to shop at least two weeks before the event. And for those of you who wants to buy them online please remember that there are so many risks including the shipping arrival so do it a month or two before the event.

 Research
Okay so this might help if you still have questions about the neckline and stuff before your shopping trip. There are loads of helpful information online such as the best dress for your body type or the best color for your skin tone. It's good to do your research but at the end of the day it is still your choice because you are the one who is going to wear it. So if something you read online for example the suitable color for your skin tone is blue but you are killing the red dress, just take it and don't afraid to break the rule!

  Find inspirations
When looking for a dress, I think it is better if you know what is exactly you want. It doesn't have to be that specific but you at least have to have an idea of your perfect dress whether it is the color or particular model / style. Sometimes it is good to look up some inspiration in tumblr or an online shop that sells prom dresses.

 Flexible
When shopping for a dress, you must be flexible of your options! It is okay to change your mind about your perfect dress along the way. If you like the model of a dress you're trying but it isn't what you planned to buy, it is okay to change your mind and buy it. This brings me to my next tip.

Try as many dress as you like
When shopping, sometimes there are some dresses that looks good in the mannequin but doesn't look good on you. Well guess what, if it doesn't look good in the display it might look good when you try them on. Some dresses may look dull at first glance but it might look fab on you when you wear them.

As I said before, you must be flexible with your options. Let's say that you are looking for a white dress but there's a dress in black with a design that you really love, well guess what you must try them on! Don't passed them just because it's black!

It is important to try every dress that you like because it will help you to compare the dresses. But if you try them on, you didn't regret your decision for your final dress because the one you pick is the dress that suits you the best because many dresses seems lovely but unfortunately unflattering for some of us.

Another tip is to try move around with the dress while you're trying them on. If it's uncomfortable, don't buy it! It's more important to enjoy the night without worrying about the dress or constantly shifting the dress because it's itchy, too revealing etc. My second tip when you're trying on a dress is to take a picture of you wearing that dress so it's easier to compare and make your final decision which means it is okay if you have to go back to the previous store you went.

Don't be shy to ask questions
You shouldn't be shy to ask questions! like the example above if you like the model of the dress but it was in black and you are really looking for a white one ask the shop keeper if they have it in white or not.

 Take your time
My tip number seven is to take your time while shopping. It is okay if you don't find the dress right away. I know that most of your mother won't agree on me with this one since some of them are impatient but you are the one who's going to wear them. So if you have a parent like this tell them before hand that it might take a long time so if they are mad and all you can say that you already warn them before hahaha. OR you can go with your friend instead, it's much more fun and at least you won't have the same dress with them in the day of prom.

Anyways taking your time is important because maybe you'll see a dress that you love at the end of your shopping trip. You don't want to buy an 'okay' dress right? And if you follow my first tip which is to shop way before the event, you still have time to go on another shopping trip and hey maybe you'll find the perfect dress at the second trip. BUT don't take too long! in my opinion three shopping trip is the maximum trip you should take. It might be a good thing to limit the amount of shopping trip you're going.

  Shopping buddy
Okay my last tip is to have somebody accompany you when you're shopping. I don't really think that somebody would actually shopping for a dress alone but my point is to take somebody like your sister, mom, or friends because tagging somebody who has the similar or good fashion sense with you is always nice because they might see nice dresses that you didn't spot or give their opinions about it. But again always remember that at the end of the day YOU are the one who will be wearing it (wow I said this too much).

Enjoy your prom!

Happy Pills

Hello! I'm sorry I haven't post anything lately due to my laziness and lack of interesting topics. Anyways, I spent most of my days on tumblr and I saw  an interesting image (well this is not the first time I've seen this picture FYI).

So this is a picture of the product of a confectionery shop called Happy Pills which is located in Barcelona! Like the PMS ice cream, they have a super cute and creative way of packaging their products. They basically put their logo on medical containers such as the first aid kit and pills container. I love the packaging because a lot the labels are so cute which provide the instruction of use and the doses and what it is for such as "It makes you prettier than your friends", "Against Monday", and many more.

I haven't been to the store before because it is only located in Barcelona and it is super far away BUT luckily they do have an online shop if you guys want to purchase anything and best of all, you can customize your own label. Like the packaging, the shop also have the clinic feel from the pictures I've seen in the internet hahaha.

I really want to go to the shop and buy the stickers because I think it's so cute. Well to be honest, it's actually easy to create by yourself because you just need a sticker paper, print the label, stick it on a plastic container, fill it with your favorite candies and boom you are done! But again copyright do exist so you must not do this for commercial use and it's easier to buy them in stores anyways.

In conclusion if you are lucky enough to go to Barcelona, I think it is great if you stop by and buy some of these lovely pills (click here to see their address) because I personally think that sweets are the best medicine for any occasion hehehe.

The bright sight

It is 100% normal to feel sad, unsatisfied or angry at something that doesn't goes as planned. I also have those feelings at least twice a week and people will probably say something like "Look on the bright sight!". Well I used to think that quote is nothing but words because most of the time there is no bright side.

I have been thinking and finally know that being sad or angry is a complete waste of time. Looking on the bright sight surely doesn't change your current situation but it will make you better in some ways. I used to miss the bright sight by expecting  something 180 degrees from the event that caused your sadness or anger but I learned that sometimes it is the simplest and little things that made us happy that day.

Not too long ago, I went to on a trip approximately 200 km away from my house and it took me four hours to get there even though I woke up at four in the morning. Traffic sucks but the bright side, on my case, is looking and enjoying the views that I usually passed with my high speed car. Even if it is only a tree or wild flowers, I enjoyed every single second of it. I was angry because it is taking forever and usually it's only one and a half journey. My car is basically going on a speed of 50 kmph but again I felt happy even if it is caused by the simplest thing.

So, I know that sometimes it is hard to look on the bright sight of every single bad situations (because most of the time it is not as simple as being stuck in traffic) you are having but you should always remember to look towards the light because shadows will always fall behind you J

I hope you have a great start of the week!

Toy Story

Hi everybody it's Mickey Mouse! LOL
First of all sorry for the lame intro hahaha I just have to type that because it is the first thing that popped in my head. Okay so today I wanted to talk about Toy Story. If you don't know because you are living in a desert or something, Toy Story is an animated Disney movies which I enjoyed watching when I was little.

So I know most of you probably love this movie but if you know me, you know that I think too much and I did think too much after watching this movie as a kid. I enjoy watching it until now but back then but a part of me is terrified after watching the scene where Woody (the cowboy doll) scares Sid (Andy's mean neighbor). The first time watching it, I was like "He is mean! he deserves that" but after watching it again as when I was eight or so, I am terrified.

Well around that age, I rarely play with my dolls and I have a bunch of them. I am so scared that all of that doll is going to attack me while I was sleeping. And they did (in my nightmares of course hahaha) which scared me even more! Plus I didn't remember who actually came up with this idea but me and my cousin ended up watching the scariest thing ever after watching toy story. Guess what? I watched the Chucky doll movie. It was on marathon and we watched it.

So from that day I kiss each of my dolls good night for months. Then I got lazy (typical Mich) and said "Good night every one" instead. And I got over it after a year or so after I watched Chucky. In conclusion, do not let your children watch Chucky under the age of twelve after watching Toy Story. Trust me. It ain't fun.

Crave

For all of my female readers out there, I present you the PMS ice cream that I know you need.

Honestly, I know that some girls who don't crave or be overly sensitive before having their period but it is super cute idea and cute packaging. I love the design and the name for each flavor (I want the strawberry one so bad). And zoom in the picture bellow to see the cute details of the jars.

This PMS ice cream is created by Parker Jones, a college student in Oklahoma. She is actually a design student who got a suggestion from her professor to make a ice cream package and from there the PMS ice cream was born!

So I'm sorry to say that these ice cream is not on stores ladies but don't frown because you'll never know if she will be teaming up with Haagen Dazs or Ben&Jerry's. I'm just curios will she make another ice cream package for the broken hearted? (just saying)

A Letter

Hey you!

The final exam is finally over! I am so glad that it went well because if you didn't know already I work my ass off for it. I study study and guess what? study on my holidays.

Well starting this day, I will not have any classes in school and will be back next month for my graduation. Yep my graduation from high school! I am really happy that my stress and pressure is somehow lifted. *sigh* I still remember my first day just like it was yesterday.

My first day was fun, I was super duper excited going to school wearing my uniforms and all that, seeing my friends, meeting new friends from different schools, seeing friends from my elementary school after separated for years, entering my new class and seeing my new....everything. I love them all.

I love all of the memories sitting and enjoying classes in the tenth grade. And spending my Saturdays dressing up for a sweet seventeenth birthday parties or dinners. I remember the stressful days where we have too many test and assignments even on the holiday. The days where we all curse and asking the world "why the heck people say that high school is the best years of your lives?!" or desperately joking that we would actually prefer to get married (although we were all single) instead of studying LOL.

And then my senior year, we all seems to have our own path.  Having our own goals and dreams which is getting much more closer. Many of us entering various preparation courses to enter the university of our dreams. I remember those days we spent applying to the university, creating our personal statements, having the entrance test and anxiously waiting for the result.  Then came our tests, practical exam and our final school exam. We were studying even harder to graduate. Even tough we are super fed up with our try outs and exercises, we still did it anyway.

Finally our last duty in as a senior high school student, the national exam. Three years in studying is suddenly examined by a test which consist 40-50 numbers. Three years and 40 numbers. Wow. Afraid? Heck yeah. Now it is finally over.

After years stressing, studying, joking around and laughing in the same school, the same halls, the same classes and that same friends that grow more and more over the years, I can finally say that high school is and always will be one of the best years of my life. And for that I also say thank you for being a part of my high school days.

Sincerely,
Mich

Smart Tech

Smart phone has been a big part of everyone's life. But now I think all of you probably know there are more smart gadgets emerging within the past decade and smart phone is only the beginning. Today I want to share smart gadget that some people probably didn't know before so no, I am not going to talk about the Apple's smart watch.

The first one on my list is a smart suitcase! So there is a tech company called bluesmart who invented this fist ever smart luggage which is going to be released in October. I found out about this from a youtuber Sonia Gil in her channel Soniastravels which is filled with travel tips that helped me so much when I am traveling around.

Okay what is so smart about this suitcase? well it has cool features such as :

 Digital lock
Digital locks are great because nobody can't mess around with your stuff. And bluesmart have an app connected to your luggage so you can lock and unlock them from the app.

 Battery charger
This smart luggage is not only used for keeping your clothes but also charge your phone and other gadget which is cool because everybody know that not every airports have enough charging stations and you can't have your phone with a low battery since you are carrying a luggage with an app connected to it and accessed by your phone. So well thought bluesmart! (Oh I forgot to mention that this post is not a commercial thing where I get paid etc, so I just posted this because I want to share the awesomeness of this luggage)

 Location tracking
Location tracking is very useful in my opinion because I know there are some unlucky people out there who experienced losing a luggage which sucks so worry no more you can track them and catch the culprit I guess.

 Built in scale
Over packing is a huge problem because you have to pay more just for packing too much clothing. I think this feature is very useful especially when you are packing for your journey back home because when you are packing at home before your trip you could easily scale them with your scale but not every hotel has a scale laying around and you don't want to scale them in the airport right?

 Proximity alerts
Another cool feature is a proximity alerts, so the app can give you a reminder or alerts if your luggage is to far from you. Pretty cool huh?

It is not released yet but I love them already! I didn't know many details about it but here's the promotional video

The second smart tech I want to share is a smart pen by  another company called Livescribe. No it's not a stylus but it is a pen connected your iPad or other gadget such as laptops. Like the luggage I have mention this pen is also connected to your iPad with an app which is always great. It is just like a regular pen where you can use them on paper but what ever you scribble and writes will be transfered digitally in the app. I just knew the existence of this product few days ago but it is apparently been here since 2008! And today we have the third edition which is crazy for me because I never heard of them!

Okay so basically, if you purchased this pen, you will also get a notebook where you could write on. I don't really know about this but I guess you can transfer your writings if you write on this special notebook they give. I think this is kind of a disadvantage for this pen because you have to buy a special book (and special ink cartridge apparently). BUT I think it is also a good thing because the book also have some cool feature, they have buttons on the bottom (it is not a three-dimensional button but more like a printed picture) that you can tap with your pen to record what the teachers are saying which is pretty cool to have and really helpful for studying.

I think this smart pen is great because from a student perspective it is a great learning experience. And I would love to convert my writings into text and then copy them in the lecture power point or a soft copy from a teacher also insert the audio of the explanation. I think it is a really great way to study. Enough for now, I actually have more but this is a long post already hehehe. Okay, I hope you have a lovely day! And happy April!

'92

Okay this is silly and weird but I just realized (after a long term research) that……there are so many appealing male celebrities born in 1992. Don't believe me? well here are a few names : Alexander Ludwig, Freddie Highmore, Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Nathan Kress, Logan Lerman, Taylor Lautner and Nick Jonas. See? well not everybody born in 1992 is handsome or cute. Many of my local celebrities and relatives is not as appealing as Taylor Lautner hahaha #sorrynotsorry but seriously it is a weird yet amazing phenomenon right? . Well okay, honestly this post really sucks but I have a reason why I post it anyways. It is because I have this thought since forever and need to share this to you guys because I know you didn't realize this not-so-important-but-you-gotta-know fact. So your welcome.

Long live tortoises!

Galapagos islands is a bunch of island in the Pacific Ocean which is known for the place where Charles Darwin visited in his voyage on the HMS Beagle. I am sure that you already know this but what you probably don't know is the fact that Galapagos island is also known for their giant tortoises.

Galapagos giant tortoises is the largest living species of tortoises. These species have many subspecies, one of them is Chelonoidis nigra abingdonii which is called Pinta Giant Tortoises that live in Pinta / Abingdon island.

Galapagos tortoises is a rare species that live long before us. It is poached and slaughter because of the fact that these guys can live without water or food for a year so people start to take them from the islands. Black rats (which introduced by humans to the Galapagos islands) is also a cause for the extinction as a predator of the egg and baby tortoises. So the Pinta tortoises was assumed extinct until they discovered that there is one male species left in 1971.

He is called Lonesome George. Yes that is his name alright and it is true he is all alone. Many biologist had tried to save the species but George never reproduce or find a mate suitable until he died in 2012. Now we still can see the preserved Lonesome George in the American Museum of Natural History as a reminder for us, humans, to do something to save other species of tortoises. Over the years, tortoises has become more and more endangered and can extinct any moment.

But thanks to the Galapagos conservationist, who terminated most of the black rats since 2012 on a on going project of rat eradication, biologist had found baby tortoises hatching in the Island of Pinzon for the first time in a 100 years! They found six baby tortoises which is not much but actually good enough because baby tortoises is rarely found. So if we found six that means there are more out there. I really think this is a good news for everybody because nature just gave us a second chance to conserve these tortoises so long live tortoises! And kudos to you guys in the Galapagos Conservancy!

Get Motivated

Hello! It's been a while since my last post hasn't it?
For you guys who has been following my posts probably know by now that I was having my exam week which ended yesterday! Yeay!

But I still won't post much because I still have my national examination on April! So I need to study as always #studentlife. Well I must say that I study super hard for my school exam because I pretty much failed the previous exam (It is the final semester exam week which ended five days before the actual school examination started LOL).

Guys listen up, I always think that multiple choice test and exams (which is the type that I get for my finals and exam) are stupid because we actually know more beyond our answers BUT I also think that this is not an excuse when you have a bad score. So I actually reflect on how I study when I had my semester finals and I concluded that I'm not motivated enough. I didn't try hard and give my best. I know it is hard to give your best while studying something you hate or studying in general, but I think from now on we all should get motivated because you know what? at the end you will be much happier compared to the time when you failed your test.

Studying hard doesn't mean studying 24/7 but more like giving more time for studying than spending our time with our gadgets. So I just wanted to give you some study tricks that I used in my exam weeks

Love what you are studying
I think before we study, we should love them first. I know it is really hard to love math, physics, etc but if you enjoy what you are doing you'll study much faster. I know this because when I study my favorite subjects, I tend to finish it faster because I enjoy them so never hate and at least try to like them first before you study.

Change your mindset
You got to change your mindset! don't put something negative in your head about studying that subject you absolutely loathe. if it is too hard to love them as I said before, well think of it this way : the faster you started the faster you'll be finished.

Enjoy it
Why stress when you can enjoy your time studying? There are so many ways to enjoy your time studying. Some people like having snack, playing music or just simply have a cup of starbucks. Every body have their own ways so do you! but if you like snacking, I suggest choosing a healthier snack. I mean you don't want to gain weight just because of studying right?

Have breaks
Having breaks can change your study life. Seriously. A break doesn't have to be that long and I suggest not too long. I usually take a 15 minute break every two hours of studying. But when I have to study something like civics education which needs you to memorize, I take breaks per section or pages. I found it easier to memorize per 20 pages rather than 100 pages all at once. I used to spend my time watching youtube videos which is hard to stop so recently I spent them by making myself a snack, eat a snack, water my plants, or feeding my pets. But again, do what works for you if you like watching youtube videos try to limit yourself.

Have enough rest
I must admit that sometimes I stayed up late to study and I know that some of my friends are turning nocturnal and having the worst dark circles. It is very hard not to but actually you can try to start earlier so you can have more time for your rest. I don't know but staying up late is not good for your health and your concentration while doing your test. I have experienced it and it made me sick on time. So don't push yourself too hard, your body have their own limit.

Finally I just wanted to say that every body is different so the tricks I used may not suits everyone and I know some of you do better studying at night but you must remember to enjoy yourself and stay healthy! Good luck J

Tchaikovsky

Classical music has been a big part of my ballet days and the most frequently played are those composed by Tchaikovsky, a Russian composer known world wide. So yesterday, I tried to be that smart girl who study with classical music hahaha (which didn't make me smarter apparently) and I played Tchaikovsky's compositionsI always love his ballets because it is full of emotions also beautiful story.

I started with the most popular song which is The Dance of The Sugar Plum Fairy then continued with The Nutcracker and Swan Lake that I used to danced along with when I am in my ballet classes. Those three are the only ones that I knew but because I spent so much time on studying, I listened to some composition that I never know before. So I listened for another couple of hours and finally concluded that his work is amazing!

I rarely listen to classical music because I never thought of them being this interesting and made me wanted to know a little bit more about each famous composers. So from this day on, I am determine to listen more classical music and hopefully I can tell each of the famous composers' style. Okay enough for today. This is only a random thought inside my head but it is worth sharing because I just wanted to say that classical music is not as bad or boring as you think.

mochi ring donuts

So yesterday, my mother bought a box of dunkin' donuts and I was all excited to eat them and when I opened it I saw something that I never tried before. It is a uniquely shaped donut, the ones that I used to see in my Japanese comic book (it's Kocchi Muite! Miiko by Ono Eriko if you're wondering).

At first I only thought that it is just an ordinary donut with a unconventional shape just like in my comic books but when I touched them...it's squishy not like an ordinary donut! And best of all I can torn them apart into small balls of squishy donut hahaha. The texture of it is different from the ordinary dunkin' donut, it is less airy I guess. I love them and I can't believe that it was the first time for me to eat that.

Because of my curiosity, I search the name of them in the internet and it is called mochi ring donut which is available in Dunkin' Donut located in Asia and another place called Mister Donut. First of all for those of you who don't know what mochi is, you are gotta try them ASAP (can't you tell that I love them?). It is a Japanese glutinous rice cake which is usually filled with nuts, chocolate, etc. But mochi ring donuts are not made of mochi, it is made of chewier donut's dough which is very interesting and made my day.
