So yesterday, my mother bought a box of dunkin' donuts and I was all excited to eat them and when I opened it I saw something that I never tried before. It is a uniquely shaped donut, the ones that I used to see in my Japanese comic book (it's Kocchi Muite! Miiko by Ono Eriko if you're wondering).
At first I only thought that it is just an ordinary donut with a unconventional shape just like in my comic books but when I touched them...it's squishy not like an ordinary donut! And best of all I can torn them apart into small balls of squishy donut hahaha. The texture of it is different from the ordinary dunkin' donut, it is less airy I guess. I love them and I can't believe that it was the first time for me to eat that.
Because of my curiosity, I search the name of them in the internet and it is called mochi ring donut which is available in Dunkin' Donut located in Asia and another place called Mister Donut. First of all for those of you who don't know what mochi is, you are gotta try them ASAP (can't you tell that I love them?). It is a Japanese glutinous rice cake which is usually filled with nuts, chocolate, etc. But mochi ring donuts are not made of mochi, it is made of chewier donut's dough which is very interesting and made my day.
