a bowl of dessert

Not too long ago, I went to a mall with my sister. Well there's nothing unusual there but something clicks me when we (me and my sister) discussed about ourselves sharing a bowl of dessert, watch a romantic movie and other "date" things. We didn't think it's weird at all because we are girls. It's okay for girls to do that. People considered it as something normal.

We think that if boys do those stuff it would look weird and people will easily judge them by saying they are gay. We are just stating the facts here people. My question is why? Why is our society that mean?

Two guys hanging out is not always gay and if they are so what? they have their rights to be who they are. Think of it this way, a boy and a girl hanging out in a mall doesn't mean they are a couple right? Or in my case sharing a bowl of dessert doesn't mean we are in a romantic date. We shared it because it has a big portion.

I also think those "date" activities in the mall is normal to do because dating is doing something you two enjoy. So those "date" things are actually great to do even with a friend instead of a boyfriend or girlfriend.

So to guys who wanted to have a great one-o-one time with your friend, I know you get a weird and awkward feeling or a dating vibe but actually it is okay and it is normal to feel that ay at first because our society have been implemented that since we are little. So  dear fellow readers, here's a little message for you: don't judge.
